The Italian group that owns the Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni, and Viktor & Rolf brands has unveiled its expansion plan for Mexico. While OTB has been marking time in 2024, weighed down by the Chinese market, it is counting on new destinations, such as the Middle East, to regain momentum.
OTB sets out to conquer Mexico!
The Italian fashion and luxury group, which owns the brands Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor & Rolf, the companies Staff International and Brave Kid, and is a shareholder in the Amiri brand, has just detailed in a press release dated June 9 its plan to “strengthen its presence” in this “important region of North America, beyond the United States and Canada.”
A country with strong potential
“This decision is part of OTB’s long-term strategy, focused on investments targeting direct channels, in order to further develop its retail business both in markets where it is already present and by entering new geographical areas to seize opportunities in high-potential countries such as Mexico,” explained the group founded and led by Renzo Rosso.
