OTB (Only the Brave), the Italian fashion and luxury group, was driven in 2023 by Asia, its own network and its two flagship brands: Diesel and Maison Margiela.
OTB (Only the Brave) is in particularly good shape for 2023. The fashion and luxury group, which in addition to Diesel and Maison Margiela owns the Jil Sander, Marni and Viktor&Rolf brands, the Staff International and Brave Kid companies and a stake in the Amiri brand, posted sales of 1.9 billion euros last year, up 10.2% at constant exchange rates (7.2% at current exchange rates).
The group also reported EBITDA of 348 million euros, giving a return on net sales of 19.6%.
610 directly-operated stores
In 2023, OTB opened 76 new directly-operated stores (including 30 in China), taking its network to 610 direct points of sale at the end of the year. Its directly-operated network, also boosted by increased sales in existing boutiques, grew by 33.8%.
“I’m proud of what we achieved in 2023; it was a difficult year, but our brands continued to grow in all markets, not only in key places like the USA, China and Japan, a historic market for us, but also in new regions like South Korea, which recorded very good results, and other Asian markets” said Renzo Rosso, founder and chairman of the OTB Group.
