Official Timekeeper of the Paris 2024 Games, the watch brand OMEGA is launching its OMEGA House concept in the heart of Paris’s 7th arrondissement.
As the city of Paris buzzes with the numerous events of the 2024 Olympic Games, the watchmaking house OMEGA recently inaugurated its new OMEGA House in the heart of the capital. Proud to be appointed as the official timekeeper for the 31st time, the Swiss brand unveiled its new exclusive venue during an inauguration on Saturday, July 27.
Located at Hotel de Poulpry, Maison des Polytechniciens, this unique address is just a few steps from the Musée d’Orsay. From July 28 to Saturday, August 10, OMEGA House is a place to live and celebrate the Games experience to the fullest.
Reserved for guests, VIPs, and athletes, it features exhibition and entertainment spaces spread over several floors. During the day, sporting events are broadcasted on large screens. In the evening, friends of the House can enjoy various VIP events and parties designed in the purest OMEGA style.
An Olympic Commitment
The first OMEGA House was inaugurated during the London Olympic Games in 2012. The concept has since been repeated in subsequent host cities, except for Tokyo, where the Games were marked by the pandemic context.
“We love sharing the Olympic Games with our friends from around the world. It’s a magical experience, and OMEGA House offers us the opportunity to celebrate this moment together,” said Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, in a press release.
Additionally, the Swiss manufacturer unveiled a special edition of its Seamaster Diver 300M. Characterized by a sporty design, stainless steel, and 18K Moonshine™ gold, this watch features the Paris 2024 logo on the central seconds hand.
Distinguished Guests
The inauguration of the Parisian OMEGA House was marked by the presence of numerous ambassadors and friends of the Swiss brand. Among them, Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber made a notable appearance.
The American model has had a long-standing relationship with OMEGA, serving as the House’s ambassador since 1995. Kaia Gerber, 22 years old and already a familiar face in fashion shows and campaigns, follows in her mother’s footsteps as one of the faces of the watchmaking house since 2017.
“It’s an evening we’ve been eagerly anticipating. We are thrilled to welcome spectators back to the Olympic Games and to share this event with friends like Cindy and Kaia. We have put a lot of energy and passion into making OMEGA House a wonderful place to gather during the Paris 2024 Games,” said Raynald Aeschlimann on the night of the inauguration.
