The New York International Auto Show 2022 opened its doors on Friday 15 April, giving us the opportunity to take a look at the new products presented.

The big news of the show, one of the most exclusive cars, is Austrian. It is the Deus Vayanne, a zero-emission hypercar designed in collaboration with ItalDesign, an Italian car design company, and Williams Advanced Engineering. With a power output of 2,200 hp, the car can reach a top speed of 400 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.99 seconds. Although the price has not yet been announced, only 99 cars will be available and production is expected to begin by 2025.

The American manufacturer Chrysler, which was also present at the motor show, unveiled a new version of the Chrysler Airflow EV to visitors. The model, which is the manufacturer’s first all-electric vehicle, was presented in New York in a unique version called Graphite, dressed in black and bronze.

The new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, unveiled earlier this week at an exclusive event, will also be on display in New York. The 640 horsepower Huracan Tecnica promises superior acceleration to previous models, with a 0-100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds.

The Genesis concept car, the premium brand of the Hyundai Group, will also be unveiled at the New York show. The latter is presenting a 3-door coupe styling study, called the X Speedium Coupe, which is an evolution of the Genesis Concept X. However, while it is known that the manufacturer’s future zero-emission models will be inspired by this style, the technical characteristics remain unknown.

The same group also took the opportunity to unveil the redesigned versions of the Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride, with an exceptional length of 5 metres!

Many other Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen novelties are to be discovered at this show, which will close its doors on April 24th.
