Miss France 2025 is definitely in tune with the times… The choice of an eloquent and committed 34-year-old candidate is a testament to the evolution of a competition once considered old-fashioned. Her partnership over the past two years with the Nona Source platform, which offers dormant stocks from prestigious luxury brands, also contributes to the modernization of this popular event.
Doyenne of the competition since its creation (at 34…), of Martinique origin, particularly tall (1.83 m), tattooed (albeit discreetly) and with short hair, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, elected Miss France 2025 on the evening of Saturday December 14 at the Futuroscope in Poitiers, ticks all the boxes when it comes to inclusivity and a virtuous approach.
Add to this her promises of commitment to noble causes (ecology, the defense of her native island and the fight against breast cancer, which her own mother successfully battled), her experiences as a child pushed around at school (she grew up in the Paris region) because of her different physique (imperfect teeth, size first too small then too big…)… And you’ll have the ideal Miss France 2025 to testify to the fundamental evolution of the competition!
More flexible criteria
Even if the competition displeases some who still consider it obsolete, it has to be said that it’s doing its utmost to bring itself up to date…
