While the lights are still out in Los Angeles, the German automaker has offered its support to the population, with cash donations and technical advice for the drivers of its vehicles.
Rain and…Mercedes Benz come to Los Angeles’ rescue.
OnSunday January 27, showers finally brought some respite to the capital of California, where four fires were still ravaging the city. The first had started on January 7 in the upscale Pacific Palisades district. On soils dried out by twelve months without a drop of rain, the fire thrived and spread rapidly.
A heavy toll
The arrival of heavy showers was not without negative side effects, however: it also led to “debris flows” and “vehicles in the mud ” in Woodland Hills, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
