Mercedes-Benz announces the construction of its iconic tower in Miami, named Mercedez-Benz Places. Scheduled for completion in 2027, this initiative is part of the German automaker’s global strategy to create innovative, sustainable urban living spaces.
Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its real estate empire. After recently announcing its first real estate project in Dubai, the German brand has unveiled its next ambitious project: a tower named Mercedez-Benz Places, in the Brickell district of Miami, USA.
Developed by JDS Development Group (JDS), the building was imagined in collaboration between New York studio SHoP Architects and the Mercedes-Benz design team. The project marks the fourth collaboration between JDS and SHoP Architects, following on from the recently completed Brooklyn Tower and two copper-clad “dancing” towers in New York.
Mercedez-Benz Places will stand proudly on Southside Park, offering a total surface area of 232,257 square metres and rising 67 storeys. The multifunctional complex will include 791 private homes, ranging from affordable studios to luxurious three-bedroom apartments. Prices will start at $550,000, offering a diverse range of options for residents.
“It’s a privilege to work with Mercedes-Benz and go beyond a traditional residential building to create a new community for the future,” said Michael Stern, founder and CEO of JDS Development Group. “Backed by sustainable construction methods and design, Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami will create a legacy not only for Brickell, but for Florida as a whole.”
In addition to residences, the project will also include offices, high-end health and wellness facilities, as well as a 174-room hotel, boutiques and on-site parking.
