With the inauguration of the Paragraph Freedom Square in its capital, Tbilisi, the Marriott Bonvoy group marks the arrival in Georgia of its first hotel under The Luxury Collection brand. This small Caucasian country, at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, was once a favorite destination for Russian tourists.
The Marriott Group has chosen Georgia, one of Eastern Europe’s most popular vacation destinations, as the location for its Paragraph Freedom Square, the first address for The Luxury Collection brand in the country.
This former USSR country lies between Russia to the north and Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan to the south.
The Luxury Collection is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s international portfolio of more than 30 iconic brands. The brand includes world-renowned hotels and resorts.
Authentic Georgian spirit
The Paragraph Freedom Square embodies a delicate balance between tradition and modernity. Designed by the Hausart Georgia architectural firm and adorned by HAT Design Paris, the hotel, located near the Old Town, is nestled in a UNESCO-listed double-curved glass building, in which Freedom Square is reflected.
The hotel has 220 rooms on three floors, divided into 8 categories, ranging from standard King rooms to two Paragraph suites. Each room is tastefully decorated in the purest Georgian tradition and equipped with a wine minibar.
The establishment offers authentic service and a design setting enhanced by refined epicurean experiences.
