LVMH sells Thomas Pink to CP Brands Group and Icon Luxury Group

On Tuesday, New York-based CP Brands Group and Icon Luxury Group announced the acquisition of British luxury clothing brand Thomas Pink from its former parent company, LVMH.

Founded in 1984, Thomas Pink has turned over a new leaf, having been bought by the LVMH group in 1999 for £41.6 million.

25 years later, CP Brands Group and Icon Luxury Group are taking over the luxury brand from LVMH in a joint venture partnership. Thomas Pink’s legacy will continue to be expressed through “key licensing agreements” in several categories, such as fragrances and eyewear, said Eli Yedid, CEO and founder of CP Brands Group. “Thomas Pink is a symbol of British sophistication and craftsmanship. We are delighted to welcome the brand to our portfolio,” he added.
