Luxury car: Bentley strengthens its presence in France

British carmaker Bentley has announced the opening of its fourth French address in Mougins, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. This new opening in France is a sign of the brand’s desire to establish itself further in the French market.

Bentley, the English reference in luxury cars, has opened its fourth store in France, near Cannes. The new address, located in the town of Mougins, in the PACA region, is part of Bentley‘s ongoing strategy to establish itself in France.

Indeed, the automotive group, whose parent company is Volkswagen, decided to expand in the south of France at the end of May. After its first inauguration in the Hexagon in Paris, Bentley had opened a showroom in Lyon in 2013, then in Bordeaux in 2017. The brand is also located in Monaco.

This multiplication of points of sale continues with the opening of this new showroom, near Cannes. This long-standing strategy to expand Bentley‘s French clientele is not insignificant, as it allows the brand to enhance its noble heritage by offering its customers luxury à la française.

On January 5, the British carmaker announced that 2020 was the best year in its history in terms of sales. Bentley Motors sold 11,206 units as a result, an increase of 2% compared to 2019. The brand quickly surpassed its pre-Health Crisis level and proved its resilience by posting a net profit of 3.4 billion euros for the first quarter of 2021.

The official opening of the site is a great opportunity for the British brand to present the various models of its range to local and international customers in France. This new showroom will offer customers all the models in the Bentley family including the Bentayga, Continental GT, and Flying Spur,” says the brand through a statement.
