LUXE PACK 2022 puts glass in the spotlight

LUXE PACK is back for its 34th edition in Monaco, from October 3 to 5. This year, the show has decided to focus on a noble material, 5,000 years old: glass.

 

LUXE PACK is above all more than 450 exhibitors and 7,800 visitors, 90 qualified speakers, dozens of conferences and keynotes with more than 90 countries represented and about fifty partners including your magazine Luxus Plus.

 

The United Nations has declared 2022 as the International Year of Glass. With the “Age of Glass” operation, LUXE PACK has decided to honor this noble material, which is very respectful of the environment.

 

This operation is supported by the FEVE (European Federation of Glass and Packaging Producers), which groups together perfume companies in Europe that specialize in the production of bottles. It is also supported by centdegrés, an international brand intelligence and design agency.

 

In addition to the exhibition of remarkable creations by glassmakers and designers, experts will be on hand to answer visitors’ questions. Visitors will also be offered a perfume, “the fruit of the glassmakers’ know-how, centdegrés’ creativity and Firmenich’s olfactory creation.

 

 

Sustainable packaging

 

Positioning itself as the pioneer of sustainable packaging, LUXE PACK 2022 offers, as it does every year, a series of presentations and events highlighting this theme, green innovations and product launches to be found on the exhibitors’ stands. The aim is to reduce the environmental impact by highlighting, for example, eco-design.

 

The conferences will be organized around five pillars, such as “Going glocal”, which will address the transition to new virtuous supply models. Going to costumers” will also deal with new packaging for new markets, consumer behavior and a new target group of customers.

 

For the past 13 years, the LUXE PACK in green award has also been recognizing the best sustainable packaging innovations and “green” approaches by exhibitors. More than 60 creations will be presented.

 

New partners will be present such as Agence chic, specialized in packaging design, Anfora porcelain bottles, designer of bottles, flasks and jars or Furnalis, expert in ornamentation and dressing of glass bottles.

 

The ceremony will be hosted by Alice Vachetn, host of the podcast “L’empreinte”.
