A stone’s throw from the Trocadéro, a new address is breathing new life into the 16th arrondissement. Combining industrial heritage, Art Deco inspirations, and contemporary lifestyle, Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower is reinventing the hotel experience with boldness and elegance.
Launched in 2014 by the Hilton group, Canopy by Hilton is positioned in the upscale lifestyle hotel segment, offering a positive experience without unnecessary frills. These are hotels where guests feel at ease, with 45 locations currently in operation and 40 projects in development in 18 countries.
Just a few steps from the Trocadéro, the Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower stands out as the lifestyle address of the 16th arrondissement. A former power station from the 1930s, the building retains traces of its industrial past: concrete pillars, photos of the historic construction site, plexiglass artworks representing old wiring, lines on the floor reminiscent of the electrical network, oculus (round openings) at the head of the beds, and more.
The hotel draws its inspiration from Art Deco and leading modernist figures such as Le Corbusier, Robert Mallet-Stevens, and Charlotte Perriand. The result is a decor where rounded shapes interact with functional lines, where light structures the space, and where raw materials meet warm touches.
L’Esprit Nouveau by chef Rémy Ribeaucourt
Located in the heart of the hotel, the restaurant L’Esprit Nouveau (the New Spirit, in English) takes its name from the eponymous magazine founded by architect Le Corbusier and published in the 1920s. This publication celebrated innovation and modernity, such as the future of skyscrapers. It is in this avant-garde spirit that the designers of the setting imagined the decor. The room is topped by an industrial-style glass roof, diffusing a soft light that illuminates the plants. Elegant and convivial, this table is adorned with black shelves with graphic lines, colorful chairs, leather benches, and abstract patterned rugs. Far from being sterile, the setting plays on the contrasts between dark furniture and touches of multiple colors, bringing a lively and dynamic feel.

This decor complements the creative and surprising cuisine of chef Rémy Ribeaucourt. His dishes are full of perspective, depth, and texture. Locality and seasonality are de rigueur here: in winter, L’Esprit Nouveau transforms into a refuge for gourmet evenings; in summer, the restaurant is a lively and welcoming urban jungle.
With continuous service from noon to 10:30 p.m., the restaurant offers the great classics of French and international cuisine, perfect for satisfying the palates of both local and foreign customers. Onion soup, vegetable croque with goat cheese, honey, and spinach, French-style Caesar salad, pasta of the day, pizzas, burgers, trio of tartares… Whether you have a small appetite or are ravenous, the menu is nostalgic and full of flavor. In addition to wine selections and traditional soft drinks, mocktails, and spirits, the hotel offers several signature cocktails, such as the Red Goose and the New Fashioned. Two hot drinks, the Winter Boost and the Cinnamon Elixir, are sure to surprise your taste buds.

123 modern and refined rooms
Perched at the top of the Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower, Eylau Paris is the establishment’s second culinary offering. This rooftop bar has the Eiffel Tower as its backdrop and a panoramic view of the Parisian rooftops. Once again, this spot transforms with the seasons, becoming a sunny bubble in summer and a heated sanctuary in winter. For after-work drinks, dinner under the stars, or a festive evening, this open-air balcony cultivates the hedonistic spirit of this hotel in the 16th arrondissement.
The hotel experience continues in the 123 rooms, divided into ten categories over seven floors, which offer a contemporary take on the French art of living. Some open onto private terraces, while others offer breathtaking views of the Iron Lady. Modern furniture, sober colors, and comfortable bedding create a classic atmosphere that will satisfy all types of travelers, from vacationers to professionals to families in transit with their pets—the hotel is “pet friendly.”Meeting rooms and a sports center complete the four-star offering.

The bonus? Committed to the Hilton group’s “Travel with Purpose” environmental initiative, the establishment focuses on zero plastic, products from the Île-de-France region, and responsible energy management. A destination for curious travelers, Parisian epicureans, and design-conscious aesthetes, the Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower is more than just a place to stay. It tells the story of an electric and eclectic Paris.
