The Airelles hotel group and pastry chef Cédric Grolet reunite in Saint-Tropez. On the agenda, new creations inspired by Provence and a new boutique.
The collaboration between Airelles and Cédric Grolet continues, moving from the mountain ranges to the Provençal hills. During the last winter season, the Les Airelles in Courchevel hotel had the services of the internationally renowned chef. From April 25 to October 1 of this year, it will be the guests of the Château de La Messardière who can enjoy pastries signed by Cédric Grolet.
A sumptuous hotel surrounded by vineyards, the Château de La Messardière is one of the most beautiful addresses in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. With its five restaurants spread across the estate, this exceptional place knows how to offer the best to its clientele. So, it’s not surprising that one of the best pastry chefs in the world comes here to establish his summer residence to delight the guests.
Exclusive Creations
Between pastries and viennoiseries, Cédric Grolet has imagined a series of delicacies especially for the occasion. Inspired by Provençal flavors, these treats will be available in the restaurants of the Château de la Messardière.
To extend the gustatory experience, the highly anticipated Cédric Grolet x Airelles boutique will open in the heart of the old town of Saint-Tropez. The 38-year-old chef’s signature creations will be available for takeaway or click and collect. Trompe-l’oeil fruits, pastries, viennoiseries, frozen desserts, but also savory delights, the most gourmet will have a choice.
The Grolet Empire
With nearly 10 million followers on Instagram, the pastry chef has aroused everyone’s gluttony with his trompe-l’oeil fruits. Crowned the best pastry chef in France in 2015 and then in the world in 2018, he who started as a commis at Fauchon quickly became a phenomenon on social networks. This popularity is evident by observing the constant queue that extends along Avenue de l’Opéra in Paris, the location of his first bakery-patisserie.
A true entrepreneur, Cédric Grolet has exported his creations to London and Singapore, among others. Recently, the Frenchman opened his third Parisian address, the Cédric Grolet Café. With this new coffee shop concept, the chef hopes to attract a younger clientele, sensitive to his hybrid delicacies like croissant-doughnuts filled with cream and cookie-pizzas.
