Nominated for the 2024 César Awards, actress Virginie Efira joins Maison Lancôme as its first ambassador for France.
Lancôme once again partners with a leading figure in cinema. The French cosmetics brand has announced the appointment of Virginie Efira as the new ambassador for Lancôme France. The 43-year-old actress has established herself over the past decade as “an essential icon of cinema and the favorite actress of French women,” a title that aligns with her sixth César nomination.
Lancôme, a flagship division of the L’Oréal group, unveiled its new spokesperson on its Instagram account: “Both radiant and sincere, she has become a symbol of elegance, never compromising her authenticity, which resonates uniquely with all women.”
“In perfect harmony with Lancôme’s values, Virginie Efira will encourage French women to reveal their own radiance, through her unique way of being irresistibly herself.”
To accompany this announcement, the brand posted official photographs of the lead actress from the movie L’Amour et les forêts. Dressed in a suit, Virginie Efira appears luminous and true to the natural freshness that characterizes her. She expressed her relationship with Lancôme, associating it with something “deeply rooted, transcending trends and not needing to chase after them.”

Humbled to now represent the values of the French House, Virginie Efira joins the circle of prestigious Lancôme muses, following in the footsteps of Penélope Cruz, Zendaya, and Julia Roberts, whom she notably cites as one of her beauty inspirations.
