Together with Alex Bovaird, the costume designer of the hit HBO series The White Lotus, Jacquemus has designed two exclusive looks for season 3. A media coup is assured by Quebec actress Charlotte Lebon, while the sophistication of the characters’ wardrobe is attracting a growing number of luxury brands.
It feels like we’re back to the excitement of the series from the end of the 2000s, Gossip Girl.
In season 3 of the satirical series The White Lotus, there’s no question of Quiet Luxury with Bottega Veneta and Cucinelli like in Succession, another successful HBO series.
For this long-awaited sequel of the ultra-rich who have gone to bask on the other side of the world, in this case Koh Samui, Thailand, make way for summer outfits in bright colors and kaftans with tropical patterns.
Alongside Valentino and Zimmerman, our very own Jacquemus has designed two looks for the character of Chloé, played by Charlotte Lebon in the American series.
Riviera spirit 1960-1970
Good things come to those who wait, and Simon Porte Jacquemus isn’t giving up the fight so easily. Over 15 years, he has built up a luxury fashion empire based on southern style and, beyond that, seaside style. In mid-March, the designer reissued some iconic dresses from his archives, in partnership with Galeries Lafayette in Paris and the New York department store Saks Fifth Avenue.
After an initial unsuccessful request to appear in season 2, the solar-powered designer returned to the charge on social networks with the production teams of season 3. And there, bingo.
The founder of Jacquemus had the opportunity to create two exclusive complete looks for the character of Chloé, the model who cheats her boredom with idleness and partying.
