The French specialist in licensed fragrances has announced the launch of its own Haute Parfumerie brand. A new strategy that should enable it to benefit from the significant growth in this segment.
For some, the name Solférino evokes political memories, as N°10 rue Solférino was for many years home to…the French Socialist Party.
But Interparfums, which has moved its offices to the former headquarters of the party of François (Mitterrand and Hollande), now wants to associate it with a very French fragrance.
This is a real new adventure for the fragrance specialist, who until now has been content to create them for licensees such as Coach, Jimmy Choo, Montblanc and Lacoste.
A collection of ten fragrances inspired by Paris
Interparfums has just announced “the creation of its own Solférino® brand”, with, initially, “a collection of 10 premium fragrances developed by star perfumers and aimed at the collector’s perfume market”. Evoking Paris and its great monuments, the collection comes just in time to capitalize on the showcase the French capital enjoyed around the world during the Summer 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
