Always on the lookout for the Earth’s most beautiful gems, Haute Joaillerie illuminates its creations with a festival of colors. From the deep red of rubellites to the bright green of emeralds, through all the shades of sapphire and the softness of morganites, each piece of jewelry reveals a bewitching harmony.
In this second part of our article on the presentations of High Jewelry during Fashion Week in January, let’s look at the dance of colors. Playing on contrasts and harmonies, the jewelry houses sublimate the palette of natural stones to make them the vibrant soul of their creations.
Roman jeweler Bvlgari once again invites us to an explosion of colors with Infinite Blossom, which evokes a garden in bloom. But for the first time, the House lets the diamond speak more, giving its compositions a special light. The stones, a little more discreet than usual, still have that dense and vivid color that is the unmistakable signature of the Roman jeweler’s creations. On the Infinite Blossom necklace, 4 impressive rubellites (23.55 carats) and 5 peridots (29.26 carats) are set in the center with more than 15 carats of diamond punctuated with amethyst. We fell in love with the Rosé Rêverie necklace, where a delicate pinkish-red spinel harmoniously matches a medley of amethysts and rubellites. The charming detail is the small turquoise studs that punctuate this dance of colors mixing pink and sky blue. And suddenly the whole of Bvlgari’s flamboyant, daring Italy appears before our eyes.
