While the other luxury giants struggled in 2024, the saddle maker on rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré made progress in all regions of the world and in all its divisions, with the exception of Watchmaking.

 

With new record results in 2024, published this Friday, February 14, Hermès continues to show itself to be impervious to the slowdown in the global luxury market. And this is despite the fact that the two giants LVMH and Kering have themselves suffered a slight decline for the former and a more worrying fall for the latter.

 

Not only is Hermès continuing to grow in all geographical areas, including Asia, but it is also increasing sales in all its divisions, with the exception of Watches.

 

Acceleration in the fourth quarter

 

Its annual turnover thus increased by 13% (at current exchange rates) to 15.2 billion euros, while its net profit rose by 6.8% to 4.6 billion euros.
