The Houses of Guerlain and Pucci unveil a collaboration for fall 2024. For their third partnership, the duo revisits iconic makeup products with vibrant packaging.
French elegance and Italian flamboyance come together around makeup. The cosmetics and perfume brand Guerlain teams up with the Florentine label Pucci to create a capsule collection combining their unique identities.
This is not the first time the two houses have collaborated. In 2007, Guerlain and Pucci joined forces to launch a line of eight unique products (lip glosses, mousse blush, face powder and brushes, eyeshadows, mascara, kohl, and liner), and they repeated the exercise in 2012.
For this third installment, the duo once again embraces a well-mastered formula: French cosmetic expertise combined with an ultra-colorful visual identity inspired by the dolce vita.
The union of two visions
The design of this collection, scheduled for fall 2024, has been overseen by the respective creative directors of both houses. On Guerlain’s side, it is Violette Serrat, also the founder of the cosmetics brand Violette_FR. Opposite her, Camille Micelli, artistic director of Emilio Pucci since 2021.
To complete this prestigious duo, they have enlisted model Natalia Vodianova, Guerlain’s muse since 2008, to be the face of the launch campaign.
Iconic products
This collaboration results in products and packaging that are as colorful as they are sophisticated. Pucci is renowned for its psychedelic prints, such as the Marmo motif, inspired by the undulations of the sun. Created in 1968 by Emilio Pucci, founder of the Florentine House, it enhances this makeup collection after being modernized by Camille Micelli.
This ultra-limited edition Guerlain x Pucci 2024 reinterprets the iconic products of the French cosmetics brand. The Rouge G lipstick comes in vermilion plum shades, while the Terracotta Marmo Sun bronzing powder is presented in three variants. An eyeshadow palette offers colors in orange, violet, black, and white with a matte finish, and Météorites pearls, Guerlain’s bestselling powder, adopt the pastel tone 02 Rosé.
