The Ritz and “Un Place Vendôme”, Chopard’s hotel establishment, will soon have a new next-door neighbor: the Barrière group. On November 18, the French casino and hotel giant announced the opening of its Maison Barrière Vendôme in early 2025.
The Barrière group is strengthening its presence in the capital.
The owner of the famous Fouquet’s on Avenue Georges V is welcoming a second Parisian hotel: the Maison Barrière Vendôme.
Strategically located between Place Vendôme and the Tuileries Gardens, the establishment is intimate, flamboyant and, above all, an ode to femininity.
“More than a hotel
The new five-star hotel being planned by the Barrière group promises the comfort of a Parisian pied-à-terre combined with the luxury of bespoke service.
But as Grégory Rabuel, CEO and President of Casinos de France, reminds us, Maison Barrière Vendôme is intended to be “more than a hotel ‘: ’an intimate place where history and craftsmanship come together with elegance. Designed as a tribute to exceptional women, this confidential setting embodies the heritage and values of Barrière hotels, which have found an unprecedented place of expression in the heart of Paris”.
Its 26 rooms, suites and apartments pay homage through their unique decor to cultural personalities as diverse as jazz singer Nina Simone, actress Sarah Bernhardt, dancer Isadora Duncan, novelist Marguerite Yourcenar, actresses Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich and writer George Sand. 26 rooms for 26 iconic women embodying “freedom, audacity and artistic excellence”.
