Panerai celebrates the 20th anniversary of its online community with a new Radiomir watch with a strong character.

 

The design and implementation of this collaborative project crystallizes a deep emotional bond with the brand’s customers. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Paneristi.com online community, Panerai unveils a limited edition, the Radiomir Venti 45 mm, available in only 1020 pieces.

 

The new Radiomir model represents the realization of a fervent creative process, brought about by a collaboration between the Laboratorio di Idee, the technical and creative team of the Panerai brand, and the Paneristi community. This new watch is a tribute to the connoisseurs and admirers of the brand, whose logo is engraved on the dial and case back.

 

The model announced by Panerai is a reinterpretation of the symbolic style of the first Radiomir, born in the second half of the 1930s, with a contemporary sensibility. Concentrating the essence of Italian design, it has, almost a century later, retained all its popularity. Among its distinctive features, the model features a beige Super-Luminova coating and a brown dial whose finish evokes the marks and scratches of time.

 

A remnant of Panerai’s resounding past, the new Radiomir also stands out for its gold hands with a sword-like appearance, a feature that can also be found on the watchmaker’s original models. The steel bezel and case celebrate the commitment of the Paneristi community, with the word “Venti” engraved at 6 o’clock.

 

Resistant and stable thanks to the assurance of a double-supported bridge, the P.6000 caliber of the new Radiomir model is also equipped with a device to stop the balance, which is activated when the winding crown is pulled out. This caliber has a three-day power reserve, guaranteed by a single barrel.

 

Water-resistant to approximately 100 meters, the Radiomir Venti is designed on a beige suede and calf leather strap, revealing tone-on-tone stitching and a hot-formed “OP” logo. With a style that can be described as vintage, this bracelet is secured by a trapezoid steel pin buckle that has an aged patina effect.

 

This new model from Radiomir is available in a limited edition on Panerai’s online store, for a price of 6.500€.
