Eyewear : EssilorLuxottica signs a ten-year licensing agreement with Brunello Cucinelli


The manufacturer of corrective lenses and optical instruments EssilorLuxottica and Casa di Moda Brunello Cucinelli have signed a new agreement to strengthen their partnership.
EssilorLuxottica and Brunello Cucinelli have signed an exclusive ten-year license agreement to design, manufacture and distribute prescription frames and sunglasses under the Brunello Cucinelli brand. The agreement will take effect on January 1, 2023 and run until December 31, 2032.
The agreement strengthens the partnership between EssilorLuxottica and Brunello Cucinelli. The two companies have been working together since 2021.
Brunello Cucinelli, Executive President and Creative Director of Casa di Moda, commented : “This choice that we share with EssilorLuxottica, which we hold in high esteem, is much more than a simple contractual agreement. It is a testimony of affection and consideration between two companies, both born from our passion for beauty and the will to do well. (…) “

The agreement includes the launch of an exclusive capsule collection by Brunello Cucinelli and Oliver Peoples, an exclusive EssilorLuxottica brand. The first collection will be launched in the first quarter of 2024.
