Ester Manas: inclusive fashion that celebrates all morphologies

Can fashion really adapt to all bodies? That’s the bold challenge taken up by Ester Manas, a brand revolutionizing the industry with its inclusive approach and made its mark last September with its Spring-Summer 2025 show. Founded in 2018 by French-Belgian duo Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre, this label offers one-size-fits-all garments designed to dress all body types, from 34 to 50.

A new year often rhymes with good resolutions.

And what if 2025 marked real progress with the “elephant in the room ” – an obvious subject that everyone is aware of, but which no one really dares tackle for fear of upsetting – that is diversity and inclusion for the luxury fashion and ready-to-wear sector?

In a world where fashion often dictates restrictive standards, Ester Manas adopts a different philosophy. The brand celebrates body diversity by offering adaptable, stylish creations. This innovative vision quickly caught on, propelling the duo to the finals of the Prix LVMH in 2020 and the Andam in 2021.

In a Spring-Summer 2025 show that saw little dresses supplanted by oversized gathered shirts, sheer skirts and a five-piece collaboration with lingerie brand Chantelle X, the brand proved that diversity and inclusion can rhyme with seduction.

Ester Manas’ commitment goes beyond inclusivity. With 80% of materials recycled or sourced from dormant stocks, the brand also embraces an eco-responsible approach. Could this “one size fits all” approach be the future of more ethical fashion, accessible to all?

The origins of the Ester Manas brand

Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre met in 2012 at the Belgian fashion school La Cambre. Seven years later, they launched their eponymous brand. The duo stands out for its unique vision of inclusive fashion.

In 2018, Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre won the Galeries Lafayette prize at the Festival de Hyères. Their “Big Again” collection stood out from the jury for its innovative approach. The garments are adaptable to all body shapes.

The couple’sinspiration comes from the 90s and 2000s. Ester’s Mediterranean origins influence their warm color palette. Their flagship concept: “inclusive fashion”. This approach revolutionizes bodycon fashion, creating inclusive pieces up to triple XL.

The Ester Manas brand favors excellence over quantity. The duo test their creations themselves, ensuring their adaptability. Their commitment is also reflected in the use of recycled fabrics, in line with eco-responsible fashion.

Yes, the fashion world can be inclusive
