The American beauty group has chosen rue Volney, in the first arrondissement of Paris, as the location for its future Maison des Parfums and Atelier to optimize fragrance development and innovation.
We now know where Estée Lauder will set up its new Atelier dedicated to fragrances in Paris.
The American beauty and fragrance specialist will finally open in 2025 (and not late 2024 as originally announced), on the top floor of a building, which will also include other fragrance-related activities, christened “La Maison des Parfums”.
The building chosen by the leader in “luxury beauty”, currently under construction, is located at 14-18 rue Volney, in the 1st arrondissement.
Center of excellence
“This new center of excellence for fragrances offers proximity to the group’s existing network of offices and to our partners in the perfume industry, enabling us to accelerate product innovation and time-to-market,” said Stéphane de La Faverie, ELC’s Executive Chairman, who will become CEO in early 2025. He will replace Fabrizio Freda, 67, who has been at the helm for 16 years.
