The sixth edition of the “Choose France” Summit, which is being held this Monday, May 15, in Versailles, is an opportunity for the President of the Republic to talk about France’s leading position in Europe in terms of attractiveness to foreign companies, with a record number of investments in 2022 and another one on the horizon in 2023.
His trip today to the sixth edition of the “Choose France” Summit at the Château de Versailles is an opportunity for Emmanuel Macron to make a very positive statement after some difficult months.
The President of the Republic, who will be attending the Summit this afternoon, which will end with a working dinner, will be able to boast of very flattering data in front of the 400 guests, including more than 200 leaders of major foreign groups gathered for the occasion.
In fact, France broke a “historic record” in 2022, being “the most attractive country in Europe with 1,259 new investment projects identified (+3% compared to 2021),” said the Elysée, which sees the result of “a proactive economic policy of attractiveness and reindustrialization conducted by the President of the Republic since 2017”. Another argument is that EY has placed France at the top of the European podium in terms of attractiveness for the fourth year in a row.
