The House Chanel is adopting a drastic measure concerning the purchase and resale of its luxury bags. Indeed, the house intends to prevent the resale of its products on online markets or platforms, especially in Asia.
Luxury products are resold on the “grey” market, especially in China. Resellers buy on a large scale luxury goods in Europe or in the United States to resell them in China, taking a commission in the process.
