The family-owned group has split up the position of CEO, with Paul-François Vranken swapping this title for that of Chairman, while his wife Nathalie takes the reins of general management. Alongside him, Clément Pierlot and Julien Lonneux have both been promoted to Deputy Managing Director.
A more muscular governance structure to enable Vranken-Pommery Monopole champagnes to face the future with strength…
On December 16 in Reims, the family-owned group’s Board of Directors decided to split the position of CEO, hitherto held by 77-year-old Paul-François Vranken, into two.
From January 2025, he will be Chairman of the Board. Nathalie Vranken, his wife just turned sixty, until now Managing Director and Marketing Director, will become Managing Director of the Champagne group. The group’s portfolio includes Vranken, Pommery, Heidsieck & Co Monopole, Charles Lafitte and Bissinger & Co.
Two new managing directors
In addition to the division of responsibilities between the two spouses, the group has also announced the expansion of its management team, via two appointments, “in order to accompany this transition”.
