Bvlgari presents its latest high fragrance for men: Gemme Empyr, exalting a spicy freshness and an intense woody heat.
For the new fragrance of its Haute Parfumerie collection BVLGARI Le Gemme, the brand has returned to the Route des Gemmes, the crossroads between East and West that inspires the collection.
Born from a collaboration with Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier, this Eau de Parfum for Men finds its signature, pyrite, stone of power in a fresh olfactory experience, a vibrant and contrasting interpretation of modern masculinity.
Pyrite is linked to Bvlgari’s ancestral roots: this stone of fire produces sparks when struck together. Its duality is its most fascinating quality: its apparent cold surface conceals a glowing heart.
Today, its meaning is symbolic: a connection between instinct and modern ability, to the strength and determination that inhabits every man.
To express this duality, Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier chose contrasting ingredients. The fragrance opens with a top note of ginger (an intense spice exclusively selected for Bvlgari) whose spicy freshness blends with the enveloping warmth of sandalwood in the middle note, ending with a base note of labdanum.
“The fragrance first reveals itself through a powerful heart note of fresh ginger, exclusively selected for BVLGARI. In the heart, sandalwood creates an absolutely unique and unforgettable contrast.” Jacques Cavallier, Master Perfumer.
Sculpted in the image of a Roman obelisk, it evokes the travel markers that marked the ancient trade routes. Like the other bottles in the Bvlgari Le Gemme collection, the signature cap is topped with a pyramid-shaped enclave that evokes the nuances of pyrite in yellow gold and bronze.
It will be available exclusively at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées and Bvlgari boutiques.
