The Italian jewelry house, owned since 2019 by the Swiss group Richemont, has announced its intention to integrate 500 additional craftsmen. The vast majority of the company’s seven jewelry workshops are based in Italy, with only one unit producing watches in Switzerland.
Buccellati relies on its know-how.
The Italian jewelry, watch and luxury accessories house, which in 2019 will become part of the Swiss Richemont group, has just announced its intention to increase its workforce by 500 over the next three years in its production workshops.
Founded in 1919, Buccellati has enjoyed “significant sales growth in recent years”, the brand said, which has enabled it to establish itself in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Seven workshops in Italy and Switzerland
Buccellati will expand its production in seven workshops, mainly based in Italy, in the districts of Milan (in Via Brisa), Como (Valbrona) and Valenza for jewelry and in the district of Bologna (Zola Predosa), for the one dedicated to silver processing. Only the watch production workshop is based outside Italy, in Chiasso, Switzerland.
