The latest ranking of the most powerful luxury and premium brands, compiled by London-based Brand Finance, once again highlights the dominance of French fashion houses and clothing brands. Chanel and Dior stand out in particular.
Chanel and Dior are particularly honored in the latest 2025 global ranking by Brand Finance of the 50 most valuable and strongest luxury and premium brands.
The London-based brand valuation and strategy consultancy is also known for compiling the list of the 500 most valuable global brands across all sectors. The latest edition, published last January, highlighted the continued significance (though not dominance) of luxury goods, with Chanel already showing clear growth. The House on Rue Cambon rose to first place among fashion and luxury brands (as well as French brands), dethroning Louis Vuitton, which had held the top spot for three years.
Chanel’s aura confirmed
In Brand Finance’s Top 50 Luxury and Premium Brands 2025, Chanel has confirmed its aura in the sector.
