Adrian Hallmark, former CEO of Bentley, has been appointed as the new CEO of Aston Martin. This appointment under the presidency of Lawrence Stroll marks a significant turning point in the British company’s strategy. The incoming leader will be tasked with addressing several challenges, including launching the brand’s first hybrid supercar and managing the transition to electric vehicles.
The British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin announced on Friday, March 22, the appointment of Adrian Hallmark, currently at the helm of Bentley, as its new CEO. He will thus replace Amedeo Felisa, aged 77, as part of the latest management reshuffle under the presidency and majority ownership of Lawrence Stroll.
“We are attracting one of the most competent leaders not only in our segment, but in the entire global automotive industry,” Stroll stated.
Adrian Hallmark will become Aston Martin’s third CEO since Lawrence Stroll took control of the automaker in 2020 with the acquisition of over 20% stake.
“I have admired Aston Martin’s ongoing brand and product transformation from afar. It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with Lawrence, the board, and the company’s employees to lead its next chapter,” said Adrian Hallmark. “Aston Martin’s transformation is one of the most exciting projects in the ultra-luxury automotive industry.”
Aston Martin stated that Hallmark will assume his role no later than October 1.
