Special Guest
The program for this day will feature several speakers sharing their expertise in law or knowledge of the luxury sector. The first topic addressed will focus on the latest European directives, particularly those related to designs and models.
To analyze their impact on the luxury industry, Claire Domergue, editor-in-chief of Luxus+, will interview Sophie Lacoste, board member of Fusalp. The granddaughter of René Lacoste, founder of the crocodile brand, Sophie initially served on the board of the family business. In 2013, she traded tennis for skiing and acquired the Fusalp company with her brother Philippe and sister-in-law Mathilde. Founded in Annecy in 1952, the Savoyard ski suit brand found new momentum under her leadership. A revival for which Sophie Lacoste was honored, notably receiving the “Bold Woman Award” in 2023, an award presented by Maison Veuve Clicquot to women entrepreneurs.
