Fashion and luxury e-commerce platform Saks Fifth Avenue has unveiled its Spring 2022 campaign, starring Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o.
Saks has tapped Oscar-winning actress and star of the upcoming Black Panther Lupita Nyong’o to take centre stage in the brand’s next campaign. The actress showcases looks bursting with pop colour from designers such as Versace, Bottega Veneta, Brandon Maxwell, David Koma, Roberto Coin and many more.
“But when Saks approached me to do this campaign with them, it was about bringing back the bold, colourful themes of spring,” says Lupita Nyong’o.

“I love dressing up and I love having a reason to dress up. It reminds me of my childhood, when I had to create outfits from sheets, towels and other things. I like to play with my sense of style and create a conversation with the big and small houses that do cool things,” she adds the actress.
To mark the launch, Saks has published a full interview with the star of the upcoming campaign in its magazine “The Edit” on the brand’s website. In the interview, the actress talks to Saks about her passion for fashion and style as well as her current and upcoming projects. Via “The Edit” section, other articles are available on fashion, beauty, accessories and more.
