Accor, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, announces the first Middle East location of the international SLS Hotels & Residences brand, with the opening of SLS Dubai. Designed in partnership with World of Wonders Real Estate company – this new address will be integrated into one of Dubai’s tallest buildings and welcomes guests and residents from April 5th. The high level of anticipation surrounding the opening is a testament to SLS’s reputation for creating exceptional experiences that are both unforgettable and timeless.
This announcement is an immediate continuation of Accor’s latest expansion phase, which follows its acquisition of the sbe hotel brands and its proposed joint venture with Ennismore. The latter project will create a leading lifestyle hotel that will be one of the fastest growing operators in the world.
SLS Dubai is the seventh location for the SLS brand, which plans to open eleven additional properties worldwide over the next five years.
With an international perspective, gained by SLS Hotels & Residences as it rapidly expands its network of hotels, SLS Dubai will offer a plethora of unparalleled and enriching experiences in partnership with a wide range of luxury brands. From Fi’lia, a restaurant with an all-female staff that celebrates Italian food and identity, to Carna, a contemporary steakhouse by renowned chef Dario Cecchini, SLS Dubai’s culinary offerings will reflect the strong sense of hospitality that SLS Hotels & Residences embodies.

We look forward to showcasing our culinary concepts, including Fi’lia, an Italian restaurant that will share the talents of its incredible all-women team of chefs, mixologists and managers in this new incarnation. We are convinced that this establishment will be a very popular destination for international travellers as well as for local customers.”
Located in the heart of Dubai, the address will offer 360-degree views of the city, with unobstructed views of the iconic Burj Khalifa Tower, as well as the tranquil Khor Dubai (Dubai Creek). SLS Dubai will be set within an impressive 75-storey tower, making it one of the tallest hotel residences in the region. Created in collaboration with international architectural firm Aedas, SLS Dubai will feature 254 guest rooms designed by renowned designer Paul Bishop, 371 residential units and 321 hotel flats, all of which will feature – in true SLS tradition – the contemporary art, refined touches and exceptional amenities that are an integral part of the brand’s DNA. The design of the entire interior, including the dining areas, communal spaces and bedrooms, was entrusted to Paul Bishop, assisted by the team from his company Bishop Design.
Dakota Development, a subsidiary of sbe, provided technical assistance throughout the project, including partnering with Bishop Design on the common areas and dining spaces of the SLS.
Hotel guests will enter through the atrium on the ground floor and take the high-speed lift to the stunning Sky Lobby on the 71st floor, where panoramic views of the entire city await. The S Bar, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and large marble bar, will feature a lounge area where the menu will be playfully divided between ‘angel’ (diet) and ‘demon’ (indulgence) options. Take your pick!
On the 75th floor is the Privilege, a lounge by day and club by night, with the two highest infinity pools in the region. It will offer a superb, unobstructed view of Dubai. The Privilege will also house the iconic SLS duck statue, making it one of the city’s most popular Instagram destinations.
EllaMia, the contemporary and sophisticated coffee shop, will welcome guests on the ground floor. The 12 Chairs caviar bar will offer the best of this delicacy to select guests and promise sensory and gastronomic experiences.
SLS Dubai will also feature its signature Ciel Spa concept. The ultimate in luxury, this wellness area will feature various treatment rooms, swimming pools, a hair and nail salon, a fully equipped fitness room and two outdoor terraces.
