The Asian hotel group Shangri-La saw strong growth in its business in 2025, despite a significant decline in net profit.

Rising indicators… with one exception
Despite this revenue growth, net profit fell significantly, largely due to pressure on margins : it stood at $112.3 million, compared to $161.4 million a year earlier, a decline of approximately 30%.
In detail, earnings per share also declined, to $0.0316 from $0.0454 in 2024, confirming this deterioration in overall profitability.
Despite this decline in net income, Shangri-La highlights an improvement in its operational fundamentals. Profit attributable before non-operating items rose 6% to $122.8 million.
