Starting in the summer of 2026, Belmond Bateaux will expand its French fleet with Marguerite, a floating villa in the heart of Burgundy.
Belmond Bateaux is preparing to launch Marguerite, a new houseboat-hotel set to cruise the canals of Burgundy starting in late summer 2026. The result of a complete transformation of the former Amaryllis, this vessel has become a true floating villa, accommodating up to eight guests in four double suites, all featuring private bathrooms.
Slow Luxury at the Heart of the Experience
Marguerite’s charm doesn’t stop there, as the villa will feature an open-concept lounge and an outdoor deck adorned with wildflowers and local aromatic herbs.
Her identity draws its inspiration directly from the fields of golden daisies that characterize the region. The interiors feature a palette of soft yellows, punctuated by floral motifs and elements inspired by stained glass.
