Waldorf Astoria to open in Marbella, Spain

The Hilton group has signed an agreement with prestigious local developer Higuerón Developments to establish its first Waldorf Astoria luxury hotel in Spain, in Marbella. The complex, which will include 120 rooms and suites, as well as a similar number of branded residences, is scheduled to open in 2029.

Waldorf Astoria continues to expand its luxury footprint.

The legendary luxury hotel brand of the Hilton group has announced its first location in Spain, scheduled to open in Marbella in 2029.

A strong local partner

To this end, Chris Nassetta, CEO of Hilton, signed an agreement on November 5 with a strong local partner, the Higuerón Developments group, emphasizing the importance of this opening for the American hotel giant.
