La Vallée Village inaugurates a VIP area and the Watchfinder brand

The luxury outlet center, located near Paris and Disneyland, has just inaugurated a VIP area for a tailor-made shopping experience and a boutique under the Watchfinder & Co brand, specializing in the sale of pre-owned luxury watches. This will make La Vallée Village even more attractive to high-end French and international customers.

To mark its quarter-century anniversary, La Vallée Village is stepping up its premium customer experience. All while continuing to cultivate its approach to accessible luxury…

For its 25th anniversary, the luxury outlet center in Serris (Seine-et-Marne) is innovating in two ways to enhance its appeal to its customers. Many French and foreign customers already frequent La Vallée Village, which is ideally located near both Paris (accessible by RER) and Disneyland in Marne la Vallée.

The Apartment, a meeting place for VIPs

La Vallée Village has just announced the opening in October of a new 300-square-meter VIP area called “The Apartment” and a boutique called Watchfinder & Co., a global specialist in pre-owned luxury watches.

Even before this, La Vallée Village already had plenty to offer.

Its more than 120 boutiques offer previous collections from prestigious brands (from Armani to Zadig & Voltaire, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin, Givenchy, Guerlain, Jacquemus, Montblanc, Prada, and Sandro) at reduced prices (up to 60% off). This positioning has earned it a place in the “Bicester Villages” by Value Retail group.

Founded in 1992, the British company Value Retail designs, develops, and operates luxury outlet villages (Bicester Village, La Vallée Village, Fidenza Village, etc.) in a dozen countries (Europe, United States, China).

French village charm

With its French village charm and cobbled streets, La Vallée Village is a far cry from the basic collection of retail outlets often found on the outskirts of towns.

And even the most demanding customers will now find something to make them feel truly privileged. As its name suggests, The Apartment, with its eight private suites, is inspired by a very elegant Parisian apartment, combining custom-made furniture, fine materials, and designer décor with a touch of art.

But the ultimate feature of the space, accessible free of charge at any time to members of La Vallée Village’s loyalty program, is the team of personal shoppers who will do everything they can to transform the shopping experience into an unforgettable moment. Provided their services have been booked by phone or email, they will help privileged customers choose a selection of clothes and accessories based on their style and desires, which they can then try on at their leisure.

Multilingual Personal Shoppers and makeover experts

But the Personal Shoppers, all of whom are multilingual and sometimes trained in makeovers and color analysis, can also accompany shopping enthusiasts to the boutiques that are likely to satisfy them. Finally, the most fashion-conscious VIPs can also sign up for workshops organized regularly to complete their knowledge and better find the looks that suit them.

To complete this tailor-made and comfortable experience, La Vallée Village also offers valet parking, a multilingual concierge service, and refreshments to keep everyone’s spirits up!

First Watchfinders boutique in a French outlet center

In addition to this VIP area, La Vallée Village also unveiled another major first on October 10: the opening of a Watchfinder & Co boutique.

For the specialist in pre-owned luxury timepieces, part of the Swiss Richemont group since 2018, this is a major first in a French outlet mall and its third location in France. After opening its historic boutique at the end of 2020 at 33 Rue Boissy d’Anglas in Paris’s eighth arrondissement, Watchfinder inaugurated a space at Printemps Haussmann in mid-2022.

The new store in La Vallée Village currently offers more than 400 vintage watches (some dating back seven decades!) for sale, all authenticated and bearing the hallmarks of illustrious brands (Breitling, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Rolex, TAG Heuer). Potential sellers can also have their timepieces appraised, sold, or exchanged.

Even more “high-end” visitors?

To ensure confidence in every purchase, Watchfinders’ certified watchmakers carry out a 60-step verification process.

In 2024, the Val d’Europe shopping center, home to La Vallée Village, is expected to attract around 40 million visitors, according to EpaMarne-EpaFrance. And it’s a safe bet that La Vallée Village’s latest announcements will further enhance the destination’s upmarket image, and probably the average basket size of its customers…
