Buoyed by solid quarterly results and a well-managed industrial strategy, Airbus continues to widen the gap with its American rival Boeing, which continues to be dragged down by delays and losses related to its long-haul programs.

A promising third quarter for Airbus
The European group Airbus posted solid results for the third quarter of 2025 : net income of €1,116 million (+14% compared to the same period last year) and revenue of €17.826 billion, also up +14%.
In the first nine months of the year, Airbus even generated revenues of €47.4 billion, an increase of +7% year-on-year. Commercial aircraft deliveries totaled 507 units at the end of September, compared with 497 at the same date in 2024. In its Defense, Space and Helicopters segments, Airbus once again recorded revenue increases of between 16% and 17%.
