Supported by Cosmetic Valley, the industry’s competitiveness cluster, and Chartres Métropole, the International House of Cosmetics will be open to both professionals and the general public, with a spectacular immersive space. Its architecture has been entrusted to the architectural firm Wilmotte et Associés.
Chartres was already known for its magnificent cathedral.
But the capital of the Beauce region, located less than 100 km from Paris, will soon be able to boast another gem: its future International Cosmetics Center (MIC), scheduled to open in late 2028. It will be located opposite the religious building.
A setting worthy of French excellence
“Opposite the cathedral, the international cosmetics center will provide French excellence with a setting worthy of its reputation,” said Jean-Pierre Gorges, mayor of Chartres and president of Chartres Métropole, emphasizing that “this space will be an exceptional showcase for all players in the sector, as well as for the general public.”
