Régis Rimbert, who took the helm at Wolford last June, is already stepping down as CEO. Has the House’s owner, the Lanvin Group, made him pay for the damage caused by an unsuccessful first half?
A CEO as ephemeral as the pantyhose of rival brands?
Wolford has just announced the departure of Régis Rimbert on January 17, 2025, just eight months after his arrival at the helm of the company. At the same time, he is resigning from the board of directors of the luxury lingerie house, a subsidiary of the Lanvin Group.
Lanvin Group is owned by the Chinese conglomerate Fosun, and also includes the famous Maison of the same name, as well as the Sergio Rossi, St. John and Caruso brands.
Turn-over of CEOs
Silvia Azzali, Wolford’s previous CEO, had not lasted long either. She only stayed on from 2023 to mid-2024.
