Indian watchmaker Titan took advantage of the renowned Watches and Wonders event to make its debut in Geneva and present its two new luxury watches on the international stage.
Another milestone for Titan Company. It was during the renowned Watches and Wonders event, held in Geneva from April 14 to 20, that the Indian giant unveiled two new models.
A major marketing coup, as this marked the watchmaker’s first participation in the event, which last year again recorded record attendance with over 55,000 visitors throughout the week.
Little known in Europe but a veritable institution in India and the Gulf, Titan thus chose the watchmaking capital to present the Edge Ultraslim Mechanical and the Nebula Genesis Starburst in the setting of the prestigious Beau-Rivage Hotel. This initiative demonstrates that the company aims to further establish its presence in the high-end segment and to showcase Indian craftsmanship on the international stage.
The Edge Ultraslim Mechanical is powered by a 2.2 mm-thick Edge mechanical caliber, “a manufacture movement of remarkable thinness, placing Titan among the houses capable of designing ultra-thin mechanical movements,” the brand noted in a press release.
Reaching for the stars
The brand also took the opportunity to announce that it will present its model at the GPHG (Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève) in the Time Only category. This award was won in 2025 by the Extra Plat Or Rose from Swiss manufacturer Daniel Roth.
Titan’s second new release, the Nebula Genesis Starburst, is equipped with an in-house automatic movement and features a Trionic rotor. According to the company, the Nebula, adorned with 60 diamonds on a dodecagonal bezel, is inspired by the birth of a star.
Founded in 1984 by Xerxes Desai, Titan has sold 340 million watches over the past four decades. Today, its annual production exceeds 15 million models. In this vein, the company plans to launch a new brand that will be positioned within the world of Haute Horlogerie.
“Our new creations, as well as the future brand positioned at the pinnacle of our offering, represent a natural evolution for Titan. They bring together our industrial depth, our design capabilities, and our engineering expertise into a more refined expression of fine watchmaking,” said Kuruvilla “Diny” Markose, CEO of the brand.
