While Jaeger Lecoultre has recalled Jérôme Lambert, its former CEO who joined the Richemont holding company, the Swiss group has made a bolder choice to head Vacheron Constantin. It has appointed Laurent Perves, whose profile is certainly brilliant, but more commercial than technical.
Decidedly, there’s a lot going on at the top of Richemont’s watchmaking companies.
In addition to Jérôme Lambert’s return to the helm of Jaeger LeCoultre, which he previously managed, after an eleven-year stint with the Richemont holding company, the group is also announcing new developments at Vacheron Constantin.
World’s oldest watch manufacturer
Franco-Swiss Laurent Pervers has been appointed as the new CEO of “the world’s oldest watch manufacturer, founded in 1755 and in continuous production for almost 270 years”, effective January 1, 2025.
