The Singaporean passport is once again the most powerful in the world. The British firm Henley & Partners frequently establishes a global ranking of passports that allow entry into different countries without a visa.
In January 2024, six countries shared the top spot. Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Japan, and France were ranked as the territories offering the most freedom to their passport holders.
On Tuesday, July 23, the latest update of the Henley Passport Index designated Singapore as the most powerful passport, with visa-free entry to 195 out of 227 travel destinations in 2024.
The other five countries slipped to second place, with visa-free entry to 192 destinations.
