Travelling to the heart of film locations has never been so popular with tourists. And the Four Seasons has understood this. Several experiences will be organised in the firm’s luxury hotels to mark the third instalment of the HBO series The White Lotus.
Fans loved the first two seasons of the American series The White Lotus, directed by Mike White and filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Maui in Wailea and the San Domenico Palace A Four Seasons Hotel in Taormina. The third part of the opus broadcast on HBO will take place in Thailand, at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. The resort, which overlooks the region’s idyllic gulf, is set beside white sandy beaches and lush tropical vegetation. It’s an idyllic setting in which to experience the twists and turns in the lives of The White Lotus guests, played by F. Murray Abraham, Jennifer Coolidge and Adam DiMarco.
‘Formalising our partnership with HBO and Max marks an exciting step in our shared journey, embracing a cultural phenomenon that combines exceptional storytelling with the universal love of travel,’ said Marc Speichert, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Four Seasons. ‘Mike White and his team have created something truly special. For many Four Seasons customers, especially our pop culture enthusiasts and travel trendsetters, The White Lotus is an ideal source of travel inspiration.’
Experiences at Four Seasons hotels
With this partnership between the platform and its hotels, the Four Seasons group intends to build on the success of the series and meet the expectations of fans of the jet-setting trend, i.e. destinations correlated with film locations.
