In the midst of a charm offensive aimed at potential American minority investors, Jacquemus has recruited a new CEO. Currently president of the North American zone at Celine, Sarah Benady has more than ten years of cumulative experience in this market.
Appointed managing director of Jacquemus in May 2022 before being promoted to CEO of the fashion house in December 2023, Bastien Daguzan surprised the entire fashion sphere by slamming the door only a few days after his promotion.
After a year without a CEO, the French fashion house seems to have emerged from this difficult situation with the arrival of Sarah Benady.
An expert in the American market
On January 28, WWD broke the news. One year after the sudden departure of its CEO, Bastien Daguzan, to run the Californian luxury streetwear brand Fear of God, the Jacquemus fashion house has found his replacement in the person of Sarah Benady.
A figure who has been working for more than fourteen years in the luxury retail sector, whether in ready-to-wear for a major fashion house (Celine) or a more accessible positioning (The Kooples and Ba&sh).
