LVMH’s version of the ancient and modern quarrel?

 

Chantal Gaemperle, the human resources director of the world’s number one luxury goods company for the past seventeen years and a loyal Bernard Arnault supporter, has reportedly been laid off with a view to dismissal for serious misconduct.

 

The news, recently revealed on Thursday November 7 by online media outlet La Lettre and neither denied nor confirmed by LVMH, has since been relayed by Afp and numerous other media.

 

Accompanied by the group’s security guards…

 

According to La Lettre, the 62-year-old Bernard Arnault loyalist “was escorted from her eighth-floor office to the door of the 22 Montaigne headquarters by group security guards” .
