After an absence of eight years, the Royal Mansour Casablanca hotel makes its grand return to the heart of the Moroccan metropolis. This reopening marks not only the revival of Casablanca’s luxury hotel industry, but also an important milestone in the city’s cultural and economic development.
A new era of luxury opens in the heart of the Moroccan metropolis. After years of titanic renovation, the legendary Royal Mansour Casablanca hotel reopened its doors on Monday April 15.
Located in the Art Deco district of Sidi Belyout, this luxury hotel embodies both the glorious past of the White City and its contemporary ambition to become a must-see tourist destination.
The Royal Mansour Casablanca was the first five-star hotel in Casablanca when it opened in 1951. The hotel closed in 2015 for renovations initially scheduled to last two to three years. The work, including demolition and complete renovation, took eight years.
Now up and running, the hotel retains the modernist spirit and aesthetics for which it is renowned. From the verdant patios to the grandiose volumes and majestic staircase, every detail reflects the royal DNA of the place.
