The Rouvenat flame shines during Watches & Wonders 2025 in Geneva

The Rouvenat jewelry house is exhibiting its new collection from April 1 to 4, 2025, at the President Wilson Hotel, on the occasion of the Watches & Wonders show in Geneva.

Founded by Léon Rouvenat, this emblematic 19th-century house had established itself as one of the greatest Parisian manufacturers before disappearing after the death of its founder in 1874.

Relaunched in 2022 by Marie Berthelon and her team, Rouvenat today combines heritage and environmental commitment. By setting up in Geneva in parallel with the leading watchmaking exhibition, Rouvenat is participating in the excitement that enlivens the city during this unmissable event.

An updated historical heritage

A visionary, Léon Rouvenat was one of the first jewelers to industrialize the manufacture of his creations and make them more widely accessible, while drawing inspiration from the jewelry of ancient civilizations. His highly acclaimed pieces attracted a prestigious clientele, including Empress Eugénie, who commissioned a brooch from him in 1867.

Taking inspiration from 3,000 drawings from archives that were rediscovered, Marie Berthelon and her team have created a modern collection that respects the brand’s DNA.

Our artistic director Sandrine de Laage has respected the original designs but also the materials, gold and silver, which is something that today’s jewelers do very little of,” she explained in an interview with Luxus Plus in 2023.

A committed jewelry designer

A former employee of major houses such as Hermès, Cartier and De Beers, Marie Berthelon brings an ethical and sustainable approach to Rouvenat.

We are committed to using only recycled gold and silver and unused stones already on the market. These gems that sleep in chests are not perfect enough for the greats of Place Vendôme but too expensive for small designers.” Each piece is thus created according to the materials available, offering a luxury that respects natural resources.

Between tradition and modernity

Rouvenat today embodies elegant and accessible luxury, offering refined jewelry at reasonable prices in the sector. In its boutique at 416 rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, da does not merely display its collections: it also organizes exhibitions, participatory workshops and artistic events, thus perpetuating the visionary spirit of Léon Rouvenat.

Through its collections presented in Geneva, Rouvenat reaffirms its desire to combine jewelry excellence with responsible commitment.
