Luxury hotel group Ritz-Carlton unveils Luminara, its third superyacht. Conceived as a true floating hotel, it will begin its inaugural cruise in July 2025, with new itineraries.
The luxury yachting scene is about to welcome a new heavyweight protagonist : Luminara.
This 242-meter superyacht, whose name derives from the Latin word for “light”, will set sail on July 3, 2025 for her maiden voyage between Monte-Carlo and Rome. Imagined as a vessel for cultural and sensory exploration, Luminara marks a turning point for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, the first luxury hotel brand to venture onto the high seas. Its ambition ? To offer a new definition of travel, where every detail contributes to an immersive experience.
Designed to accommodate up to 452 passengers in absolute comfort, Luminara was conceived by an international team of renowned designers. Inside, the luminous suites all open onto private terraces. Noble woods, Italian marble, smoky glassware and sculptural lighting shape a décor of oceanic tones. Outside, the ship’s lines, designed by the Aivan studio in Helsinki, evoke the timeless elegance of classic private yachts.
